Continuing Care Assistant
About The Position
This position involves providing personal care and assisting clients, patients, and residents with activities of daily living to promote their optimal level of functioning. The role supports individuals in addressing their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs within a dynamic healthcare environment. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is committed to delivering coordinated, quality, seamless, safe, and patient-centered services. Applicants are required to upload all relevant documents related to qualifications and consent to sharing their application history with HR and the hiring team. Only selected applicants will be contacted for an interview, and a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) with a vulnerable sector search, dated within six months, is required at the interview.
Requirements
- Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
- Basic - Computer skills
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license, where required
- Food Safe certificate, where required
- Upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position
- Valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search (required at interview)
