Continuing Care Assistant
About The Position
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking a Continuing Care Assistant to provide personal care and activities of daily living for clients, patients, and residents, encouraging their optimum level of functioning. The role involves supporting clients, patients, and residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. This is a part-time regular position within the Mental Health General Nursing Unit at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw. Requirements
- Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
- Basic - Computer skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Food Safe certificate, where required
- Valid driver's license, where required
- Valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search (required for interview)
- Upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position
