About The Position
Great content does more than fill a page-it helps people make confident decisions. At Woodland Direct, we're looking for a talented Content Writer to help shape the voice of a nationally recognized ecommerce brand. You'll create content that educates, inspires, and engages homeowners, contractors, designers, and trade professionals as they navigate meaningful home improvement projects.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional writing experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating range across web, long-form, and promotional content
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and content best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice To Haves
- Experience in ecommerce, retail, home improvement, or lifestyle brands is a plus
Responsibilities
- Write website content including product pages, landing pages, buying guides, and learning articles
- Create content for social media, email campaigns, and digital advertising
- Help build and maintain website pages within our content management platform
- Collaborate with marketing, ecommerce, and creative teams to support campaigns and business goals
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, on-brand, and optimized for search
