About The Position

VisitorsCoverage, a Great Place to Work® certified InsurTech company in Silicon Valley, is seeking a full-time Content & SEO Manager to join their Marketing team. This role is responsible for creating and managing high-quality, engaging content to drive organic growth and enhance brand visibility. The position involves writing various content types, optimizing for SEO, and contributing to the overall content strategy. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, excels in storytelling and communications, and is eager to make a significant career impact. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days in the office and 1 day remote, located in Santa Clara, California, and is open to local candidates only with authorization to work in the US.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of content marketing and SEO principles, including latest AI SEO experience
  • Experience with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and a data-driven approach to measuring content effectiveness.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to create engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Strong experience using CMS (eg. WordPress).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS is preferred.
  • Experience in international marketing is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality, engaging content, including articles, blog posts, press releases, email newsletters, video scripts, case studies, and LinkedIn posts.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, analyze competitor content, and optimize content for searchability on search engines using SEO best practices.
  • Stay updated on SEO trends, AI SEO tools, algorithm changes, and content marketing strategies to ensure our content strategy remains competitive and innovative.
  • Manage press releases via our partner sites and agencies.
  • Create and maintain a streamlined quarterly content calendar.
  • Proofread, edit, and publish content in our proprietary CMS and in WordPress.
  • Perform quality control of all content and be fully accountable for the final published content.
  • Publish and QA each article/blog once it’s live, troubleshoot if necessary.
  • Brainstorm new content ideas with the larger marketing team to develop a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals and drives organic growth.
  • Perform regular content audits to ensure content is accurate, optimized, updated, and relevant to the target audience. Proactively identify broken links, website content rendering, and duplicate content issues.
  • Provide monthly performance reports using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to monitor content performance, keyword rankings, and gaps, offering actionable insights for optimization.
