•$50,000 - $110,000

About The Position

SixSpeed is seeking to connect with talented Content Producers across a range of experience levels, from mid-level Producers to seasoned Executive Producers, to grow their Content Production team. The company is looking for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, can turn chaos into clarity, navigate the unexpected, and make big ideas happen. Opportunities may involve leading the planning, development, and execution of commercial photo and video productions, translating creative ideas into actionable production plans, managing budgets, schedules, staffing, vendors, and logistics, and collaborating with various teams and external partners. Senior roles will involve strategic production leadership, developing other Producers, and building scalable ways of working. The company emphasizes an employee-owned, audience-first approach to delivering big ideas at speed for adventurous brands.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated commercial content production experience, whether independently owning photo and video shoots, managing complex productions, or leading production teams and programs.
  • Natural problem-solver who can take an ambiguous challenge, create clarity, and confidently recommend a path forward.
  • Curiosity to understand the brand, audience, business, and creative objective behind the work.
  • Takes ownership of work, anticipates next steps, and proactively moves work forward.
  • Effective communicator who can simplify complexity, align stakeholders, and deliver the right information at the right time.
  • Understanding of the realities of commercial content production, including budgets, timelines, staffing, creative resources, and necessary tradeoffs.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, creative execution, and the technical and logistical considerations of photo and video production.
  • Judgment to determine the right production approach for the idea, budget, audience, and channel, and adapt as the work evolves.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable making decisions in fast-moving, high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to move between big-picture thinking and executional details.
  • Collaborates effectively across disciplines, builds trust with clients and partners, and brings a low-ego, hands-on approach.
  • Cares deeply about delivering exceptional creative work and continually looks for opportunities to improve how the work gets done.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with freelance talent, vendors, and production partners.
  • Comfortable supporting productions on set, including travel and occasional evenings or weekends as project needs require.
  • Energized by developing others — providing context, setting clear expectations, giving actionable feedback, and helping Producers grow into greater ownership (at the senior and executive level).

  • Collaborating closely with Creative, Account, Project Management, clients, and external partners to deliver exceptional work.
  • Sourcing and managing directors, photographers, cinematographers, editors, freelance crews, talent, and other production partners.
  • Overseeing shoots and production activities, including casting, locations, wardrobe, set design, and the creative and technical details that bring a concept to life.
  • Guiding projects through post-production, collaborating with editors, colorists, sound designers, and other partners to ensure the final work delivers on the creative vision.
  • Navigating changing priorities, evolving client needs, and unexpected production challenges with confidence and adaptability.
  • Building strong relationships with production partners, identifying opportunities to improve processes, and contributing to smarter ways of working.
