Content Producer
About The Position
American Turbines is seeking a Content Producer to document the build of their first engines and deployments. This role involves capturing and publishing inspiring content about the company's work, including shooting and editing video and photos in the shop and on the test stand, managing social media accounts, and updating the website. The content producer will work directly with the founder and engineering team, requiring an understanding of the machine to explain it accurately. This is an opportunity for someone early in their career to take ownership of all company publications, handling shooting, editing, writing, and posting without a marketing department or agency. The position is based in person at their shop in San Francisco.
Requirements
- A portfolio of work shot and edited by the applicant (short-form video, photography, a grown channel, a built site, client work, or personal).
- Ability to run a camera.
- Ability to record usable sound in a loud shop.
- Fast editing skills (Premiere, Resolve, Final Cut, or similar).
- Ability to write plain sentences and avoid marketing-sounding captions.
- Experience running and growing social media accounts.
- Comfortable making website updates independently.
Nice To Haves
- Past work on hardware, aerospace, automotive, or energy.
- Experience building something yourself.
