  • Proven track record building engaged audiences, creating platform-specific content, and understanding social strategy (not just posting)
  • Strong ability to learn and explain complex technical concepts; familiarity with cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or security industry a plus

  • Ability to juggle multiple content pieces, deadlines, and stakeholders while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and distilling feedback from technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to interpret social media and content metrics, identify trends, and adjust strategy based on data

  • Previous experience in security, InfoSec, or a threat intelligence/risk organization (agency, consulting, product company)
  • Experience at a security-focused company, startup, or cybersecurity consulting firm
  • Portfolio of published content: Links to blogs, whitepapers, social media presence, or other content you've created, especially in technical or security domains
  • Experience scripting, producing, or editing video content (including short-form content for LinkedIn/Twitter)
  • Track record of building and managing engaged communities, forums, or online groups
  • Understanding of SEO best practices, content promotion, and organic reach optimization
  • Experience with content management systems, design tools, and social scheduling platforms

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar aligned with product releases, research initiatives, and industry events.
  • Balance thought leadership, educational content, and company-focused messaging across multiple formats (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, video).
  • Own our social media presence across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and emerging platforms.
  • Create platform-specific content that drives engagement, builds community, and establishes the company as a trusted voice in threat intelligence.
  • Collaborate with researchers and product teams to transform complex threat research, product features, and customer wins into clear, compelling documentation and narrative content.
  • Write or edit long-form pieces (research reports, trend analysis, best practices guides).
  • Monitor industry conversations, respond to comments and inquiries, and actively participate in threat intelligence communities.
  • Build relationships with key influencers, partners, and media contacts.
  • Track content performance across channels.
  • Use data to refine strategy, identify high-performing topics, and inform pitch and editorial decisions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams to ensure messaging consistency and to identify new content opportunities from company wins, product updates, and research.
  • Maintain a consistent, authentic brand voice that reflects our company's expertise, approachability, and commitment to the security community.
