About The Position

Does shaping how our product is discovered across AI-powered search engines and high-intent organic journeys excite you? Do you love taking a brief and turning it into high-performing content? If so, Jobber might be the place for you. We are looking for a Content Marketing Strategist to join our Organic Search team. Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want! Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers. As part of the Marketing Department, the Organic Search team develops, manages, and optimizes integrated campaigns that drive leads for our self-serve and sales-assisted funnels. As a key member of the team, you will work cross-functionally to attract inbound traffic, capture demand across all stages of the funnel, and ensure Jobber’s content is discoverable through both traditional and AI-powered search experiences. Reporting to the Manager of Organic Search (SEO and AI Search), the Content Marketing Strategist executes high-quality, conversion-focused content to improve Jobber's authority, visibility, and brand presence. You will plan, create, and optimize content that drives traffic, impressions, engagement, and conversions across articles, free tools, product pages, and industry pages. This role blends editorial judgment with search expertise, particularly within emerging AI-driven discovery surfaces. This position is ideal for someone who loves working at the intersection of content strategy, generative search, and organic performance.
