About the position
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Content Marketing Specialist to join GoodTime’s Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Brand and Content, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content across various platforms to drive brand awareness and support our growth goals. Your exceptional writing skills and ability to create compelling, interesting content will play a vital role in shaping our brand voice and establishing us as a thought leader in the industry. The ideal candidate should be a great storyteller, have a strong understanding of content marketing strategies, and possess a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative and engaging content for various marketing channels
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market insights, and customer preferences
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive content that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
- Create captivating headlines, taglines, and calls-to-action
- Create SEO optimized content to drive traffic growth and conversions
- Collaborate with partners on co-marketing efforts and content swaps
- Plan and maintain the editorial calendar
- Effectively distribute content across multiple channels, including social media
- Track and analyze content performance using analytics tools
- Have 3+ years of experience as a Content Marketer, Copywriter, or similar role for B2B technology brands
- Possess excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Have strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to craft compelling narratives for different target audiences and platforms
- Understanding of content marketing principles and best practices
- Proficiency in SEO and keyword research
- Experience using WordPress and Google Analytics
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas
- Exhibit a can-do attitude and ability to pivot as needed
- Nice to have: experience working with product marketing and/or product teams, Hubspot experience, experience in the HR and Talent Acquisition space
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Content Marketer, Copywriter, or similar role for B2B technology brands
- Portfolio or examples of short and long-form writing samples
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt writing style for different target audiences and platforms
- Understanding of content marketing principles, strategies, and best practices
- Proficiency in SEO and keyword research
- Experience using WordPress and Google Analytics
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas and storytelling approaches
- Can-do attitude and ability to pivot and change course as needed
- Nice to have: direct experience working with product marketing and/or product teams, Hubspot experience, experience working in or writing for the HR and Talent Acquisition space
