About The Position

The Content Manager is a strategically pivotal role that owns IDI’s brand voice across all channels and formats. This person defines how IDI communicates, who we speak to, and the emotions and actions we aim to inspire, shaping everything from brand messaging architecture and editorial content to website copy, social media, email marketing, and marketing automation. This is a content leadership role for someone who thinks in narratives and customer journeys, writes with clarity and conviction, and connects content strategy directly to business outcomes. The Content Manager operates at both strategic and hands-on levels, crafting compelling content while also designing the journeys that convert prospects into customers. As a central driver of brand perception and growth, this role turns marketing direction into execution, bringing ideas, initiative, and a strong point of view to elevate how IDI shows up in the world.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in content marketing, brand communications, or a closely related field
  • Proven track record of developing brand messaging and content strategy
  • Hands-on experience managing social media channels with measurable outcomes
  • Experience designing email marketing campaigns and marketing automation workflows (HubSpot experience strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain IDI's messaging architecture, the foundational language that defines who we are, who we serve, and why we're different
  • Build and manage an editorial calendar that keeps content flowing across web, social, email, and offline channels
  • Own website content including page copy, product messaging, landing pages, and ongoing content updates ensuring the site reflects IDI's voice and supports conversion goals
  • Ensure a consistent, compelling brand voice everywhere IDI shows up
  • Partner with marketing leadership on acquisition communications, campaign messaging, and new initiative launches
  • Own IDI's social media presence across all active channels
  • Develop channel-specific content strategies that grow audience, build credibility, and support acquisition goals
  • Manage posting cadence, community engagement, and performance tracking
  • Coordinate with the graphic design team to bring content to life visually
  • Own the strategy and messaging layer of IDI's email marketing and HubSpot automation program
  • Design lifecycle nurture sequences, campaign logic, and automated workflows that move prospects through the funnel
  • Write and develop email content including subject lines, body copy, CTAs that is optimized for engagement and conversion
  • Brief the internal HubSpot technical team on builds and QA output before deployment
  • Develop pre- and post-event messaging strategies
  • Write booth copy, promotional materials, and event communications in collaboration with the project management lead
  • Partner with IDI's video contractor on scripting and content strategy
  • Ensure video assets are aligned to brand messaging and channel distribution goals
  • Monitor and report on performance across owned channels, including content, social, and email
  • Contribute channel-level data to the team's consolidated reporting cadence
  • Use performance insights to continuously improve content strategy and execution
