Content Manager (YouTube + Short-form)
About The Position
High Performance Aviation and CXO MX are seeking a Full-Time Content Manager to join their team in Conroe, Texas. This on-site role is responsible for the complete lifecycle of video content, from planning and filming to editing and publishing across multiple platforms including YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video production, editing, social media strategy, and YouTube analytics, with a focus on growing the company's digital presence and showcasing the aviation industry. The role involves working directly with leadership to create compelling content and manage contractors as needed.
Requirements
- Portfolio with long-form and short-form videos you fully owned
- Strong editing skills with excellent pacing, captions, and storytelling instincts
- YouTube expertise (titles, thumbnails, retention tactics, analytics)
- Proficiency with Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Experience with collaboration tools (Frame.io, Dropbox, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- On-site availability in Conroe, TX
- Flexibility for travel

- After Effects or motion graphics experience
- Audio production and mixing skills
- Drone and gimbal operation
- Experience with Descript, CapCut, or similar tools
- Interest in aviation and entrepreneurship
Responsibilities
- Content Planning: Research topics, craft hooks and outlines, manage the content calendar
- Production: Film and direct video shoots, capture B-roll, coordinate with talent
- Post-Production: Edit long-form videos (8-15 min) and shorts (15-60s) with strong pacing and storytelling
- Publishing: Create titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and end screens; post natively on all platforms
- Performance: Monitor analytics, iterate based on data, and drive continuous improvement
- Team Management: Manage contractors as needed (thumbnail designers, captioners)
- Asset Management: Build and maintain searchable footage libraries, templates, and brand resources
