About The Position

Join NEXCOM for an exciting 18-month project supporting Ecommerce, digital content, and enterprise marketing operations in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This short-term position is benefit eligible.

Requirements

  • 3 years experience in administrative professional technical or other responsible work that required the applicant to demonstrate proficient skill in coordinating and managing project schedules communication writing and editing and organization and the ability to work with multiple teams departments and coordinate different projects.
  • One year of experience in web content creation or management including experience with Adobe Creative Suite Microsoft Office Lotus Notes or e-mail software basic knowledge of HTML and other web-based technologies and four-color process printing processes.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of education above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months experience.
  • Up to a maximum of a 4 year bachelors degree in Technical Writing English Journalism Multimedia or other related fields for 3 years of general experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting, organizing, formatting, and editing all content for different NEXCOM system-wide marketing channels, including but not limited to catalogs, circulars, flyers, web, social media, email, and in-store digital signage.
  • Collecting, organizing, formatting, and editing of copy content for print media using a Macintosh workstation and Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Development and implementation of copy standards and processes.
  • Proofing for accuracy of content and correcting as needed.
  • Organizing media into correct channels and versions of media.
  • Ensuring all standards and formatting styles are adhered to in all media.
  • Organizing and exporting Ad Database Content using a PC workstation.
  • Adhering to fast-paced content and project schedules.
  • Managing a content and project schedule.
  • Tracking content assets where necessary.
  • Coordinating closely with the web producer and the rest of the web team.
  • Collecting, organizing, formatting, and editing of all image content for print and digital media.
  • Working closely with Merchandising Group, Products, and Promotions teams to ensure all content is submitted in accordance with turn-in meetings and content project schedules.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
