About The Position

Shamrock Roofing and Construction is hiring a Content Creator focused on video and social media to capture the company’s roofing work and turn it into finished content. The role combines filming at active construction sites around the Kansas City metro with editing and publishing from the Overland Park office. The creator will document crews, roof tear-offs, storm damage, finished homes and roofs, and customer reactions, then produce short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The role also maintains a weekly content calendar and builds reusable photo and video libraries for advertising and the website.

This is a part-time, in-office and on-site position for 25–30 hours per week, with a schedule flexible around the employee’s schedule. Reliable transportation is required. Pay is $20–$25 per hour, depending on ability. Paid holidays are offered. Applicants must submit a resume and portfolio or reel showing video they personally shot and edited. Employment offers are contingent on successful completion of a background check, including criminal history and Motor Vehicle Record reviews, and meeting company driving standards.

Requirements

• Provide a portfolio or reel showing video personally shot and edited; this is required.
• Demonstrate real video-editing ability and proficiency in an editing tool such as Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci, or Final Cut.
• Be able to attend job sites with a phone or camera and produce good content without a creative brief.
• Be comfortable around tradespeople, crews, and homeowners.
• Be reliable with deadlines.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Complete the required background check, including criminal history and Motor Vehicle Record review, and meet company driving standards.

Nice To Haves

• Drone experience or a Part 107 certificate.
• Graphic design skills for social media.
• Film, media, or communications student or recent graduate.

Responsibilities
