About The Position

Base44 is seeking a creative, tech-savvy Social Video Content Creator to serve as the face, voice, and creative engine behind its video content. The role creates authentic, high-converting short-form videos across Meta, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok, making AI and no-code tools entertaining and accessible.

The creator owns the video production process, from brainstorming and scripting through filming, editing, and publishing. They serve as the primary on-camera creator and voice for Base44’s social channels, produce content such as UGC-style tutorials, tech memes, and product features, and use performance data to test storytelling approaches. The position is based in New York and follows Wix’s fully in-person model, with three days a week in the New York office.

Base44 is a newly acquired part of Wix. Its AI-powered platform lets people create custom software applications using natural language, without traditional coding. Base44 operates like a startup within Wix, serving creators, founders, startups, entrepreneurs, and others looking to turn ideas into software.

Requirements

• Strong experience filming and editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts; a video portfolio or links must be submitted with the application.
• Fast, sharp video-editing skills using mobile or desktop tools.
• Passion for AI, no-code, app creation, and the developer or SaaS world.
• Ability to explain complex software simply.
• Ability to take ownership of the production process from writing the script to publishing.

• In-house or freelance experience with deep product understanding, brand alignment, and creating high-impact video content.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, script, film, and edit engaging short-form videos, including UGC-style tutorials, tech memes, product features, and hooks.
• Serve as the primary on-camera creator and voice for Base44’s social channels, delivering energetic, relatable, authentic content.
• Track social video trends, popular audio, and format changes to keep Base44’s content relevant.
• Translate ideas for developers, creators, and entrepreneurs into content that encourages viewers to become active users.
• Analyze views, retention rates, and sign-ups, and continually test new storytelling styles.
• Take ownership of the complete production process, from scriptwriting through publishing.
