  • Strong storytelling and scripting instincts, with the ability to make technical topics clear and engaging.
  • Working knowledge of filming, lighting, and audio, including shooting on location, in a studio, and remotely.
  • Experience publishing and optimizing video for LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms, including captions, thumbnails, and formats.
  • Ability to help subject-matter experts and customers become confident, natural on-camera talent.
  • Strong organization and ability to independently manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Comfort working in a startup or scale-up environment, with a bias toward action and willingness to build processes as needed.
  • Availability for occasional travel for team events, conferences, or customer shoots.

Responsibilities

  • Own video content end-to-end, including ideation, scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing, motion graphics, and publishing.
  • Produce short-form video for LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social channels that makes security and IT concepts clear, human, and shareable.
  • Create product demos, feature walkthroughs, and explainer videos for Blue Border™ launches and updates.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to turn customer wins into polished video case studies and testimonials.
  • Repurpose webinars, events, podcasts, and long-form content into clips and assets that extend their reach.
  • Build and maintain a video content calendar aligned with campaigns, product launches, and the broader content roadmap.
  • Create video assets for sales enablement, paid campaigns, email, the website, and events.
  • Maintain brand consistency across video templates, captions, thumbnails, intros and outros, and Venn's visual identity.
  • Track video performance, including views, watch time, engagement, and pipeline influence, and use data to refine formats, topics, and distribution.
  • Manage freelance videographers, editors, and animators as needed to scale output.
  • Stay current on video, social, and AI-assisted production trends and bring new formats and tools to the team.
