About The Position

Odyssey helps 8 and 9-figure consumer brands increase revenue, ROAS, and high-fives. With our unique understanding of messaging, targeting, media channels, and creative, we help companies find the inflection point that unlocks their next stage of growth. We build the kind of content that wins attention and drives real business results for some of the best brands in the world. This is a hybrid on-site position based in either New Jersey or Boston. We're looking for a full-time Content Creator who lives and breathes short-form content. You've already built something of your own (you've grown a TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube following to at least 5,000 followers) and you want to do this for a living, for amazing brands, with great gear and free product along the way. This is for someone who sees content creation as their full-time career. You'll be hands-on, in front of and behind the camera, turning out a high volume of premium content for the brands we work with. If you're the type who's always filming, always testing new formats, and always studying what makes people stop scrolling, this is your role.

Requirements

  • A demonstrable passion for making creative content, with a personal track record to prove it (a TikTok, IG, or YouTube account you've grown to 5,000+ followers)
  • Hands-on content creation skills, capable of executing from start to finish: ideation, filming, editing, and writing
  • Comfortable on camera and behind it
  • Editing: CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut (After Effects a plus)
  • Photography/Videography: comfortable shooting on phone and DSLR
  • Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and what makes content perform on social
  • Responsible, accountable, and a self-starter who demonstrates initiative
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization, fostering strong teamwork and positive results

Responsibilities

  • Autonomously ideate and produce large volumes of content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms, with informed guidance from our creative team
  • Create UGC-style and premium content that makes impactful connections with consumers, measured by attention and performance metrics (hook rate, watch time, engagement, conversions)
  • Shoot and edit your own content end to end, from concept to final cut
  • Pull insights from real-time response to live content and adapt your creative based on what's working
  • Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners on rapid-fire requests and tight timelines
  • Attend creative brainstorms, kickoffs, and team meetings, contributing ideas and shaping creative strategy
  • Stay on top of trends, sounds, and formats so our brands show up native to every platform
