About The Position

WSOC TV Charlotte is seeking a Content Coordinator to join its Content Center, which follows breaking news, coordinates coverage among crews, and creates content for online and on-air platforms. The coordinator monitors station content resources, handles logistics for field crews, and gathers and writes content for digital and social platforms. The role works with a manager to determine the best platform for each story and collaborates with reporters, photographers, producers, newsroom managers, ABC affiliates, CNN, CMG stations, local partners, and other media organizations. The coordinator is expected to understand the significance of editorial content and help cover daily news and prepare for major news events.

Requirements
