About The Position

We are seeking a strategic, highly analytical Acquisitions Executive to join our Global Film Acquisitions team. In this role, you will lead deal negotiations end-to-end and shape acquisition strategies that support Amazon’s global film portfolio. You will source and secure externally produced films for distribution on Prime Video and for theatrical release through Amazon MGM Studios, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling content to customers worldwide.

Requirements

• 5+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience
• Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google docs and sheets
• Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of organizing events for content creators (e.g. education summits, booths at events) experience
• 5+ years of content acquisition or sync licensing experience

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for global and regional film licensing and acquisition deals
• Develop data-driven business models and valuation analyses to support deal recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners—including Content Strategy, Business Affairs, Marketing, Finance, and Creative teams—to align acquisition decisions with Amazon’s strategic objectives
• Develop and own strategy documents and presentations
• Evaluate acquisition opportunities qualitatively and quantitatively
