About The Position

A leading podcast and audiobook company is seeking a Content Acquisition Specialist to support the company's Book Acquisitions and Content Partnerships team. This role involves researching and compiling contract deal term details, compiling and analyzing sales data, negotiating renewal licenses, and providing other dealmaking support to the team. You will also work with external partners, including publishers, agents, and authors.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in publishing rights licensing.
Experience working with databases and high volumes of information.
Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner.
Fluency in Salesforce, Airtable, and similar tools.

Nice To Haves

B.A. or equivalent degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Generate sales and performance reports using various business intelligence systems.
Research contract terms by reviewing contracts, amendments, addendums, and the contract database.
Provide general operational support to the company's book acquisition team.
Enter and maintain records in the team’s Salesforce and other databases.
Process payee changes, content terminations, etc.
Negotiate license renewals.
