About The Position

Legacy Community Federal Credit Union is looking for the right candidate to join our team as a full time Contact Center Representative. This position is in office. Legacy is committed to assisting our members in the greater Birmingham area at one of our nine branches. Additionally, we are proud to be the official credit union of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. We want to help our members Craft their Legacy by providing products and services to our members that help fulfill their financial needs. We have been loyal to the UAB and Birmingham community since 1955.

Requirements

  • Prior customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three years of similar or related experience
  • Prior telephone experience

Nice To Haves

  • Prior telephone experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Effectively assist our members with all of their telephone requests while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Provide basic account information.
  • Answer questions about products and services.
  • Resolve problems.
  • Perform basic monetary transactions.
  • Recommend and sell products and services.
  • Direct members to various departments for specific information and/or services that cater to their individual needs/goals.
