About The Position

First Commerce Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and service-driven Consumer Loan Title Processor to support lending operations and protect the Credit Union's financial interests. The role ensures vehicle and vessel titles are processed accurately, liens are perfected in a timely manner, and documentation complies with Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements. The processor works with members, dealerships, financial institutions, state agencies, and internal lending and processing teams to resolve title matters and provide member service.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least three years of experience in title processing, lending operations, automotive finance, or a financial institution.
At least one year of auto lending, loan processing, or loan officer experience.
Knowledge of vehicle titles, lien perfection, and consumer lending processes.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and member service abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree.
Experience with quality control, auditing, compliance, or ELT systems.

Responsibilities

Review loan packages and submit title documentation accurately and promptly.
Ensure liens are properly recorded on consumer and business vehicle, vessel, and indirect loans.
Maintain accurate title records, monitor pending titles, and resolve exceptions.
Communicate with members, dealerships, financial institutions, and state agencies about title-related matters.
Process paid-loan title releases and notify relevant parties promptly.
Advise lending and processing teams on title requirements, documentation standards, and processes.
Research and resolve title issues while following Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
