About The Position

Advance America is seeking a performance-based, hands-on Consumer Lending Sales Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service while achieving individual and branch sales goals. The role supports customer acquisition and branch success through sales, marketing, customer relationship management, and collection activities. Responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies, procedures, and practices. The specialist supports branch objectives and performance metrics, maintains accurate cash controls and customer records, follows security and loss prevention standards, and collaborates with colleagues. The role requires travel within the division for marketing, staffing, special events, and banking responsibilities. Regular and punctual attendance is required, schedules may change to meet business needs, and overtime may be required. Spanish bilingual ability is noted as a plus.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Sales and/or customer service experience, or equivalent experience, required.
Strong math skills, including the ability to count cash.
Professional verbal communication skills by phone and in person.
Ability to read, write, evaluate, and apply complex and detailed information.
Ability to work alone on occasion and interact professionally with appropriate social skills.
Ability to negotiate payment terms and communicate loan requirements effectively.
Ability to understand and comply with policies, procedures, and laws governing the industry, business, and employees.
Ability to use computer programs to process customer transactions and follow business procedures.
Ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama), eligible to work in the United States, and able to complete post-offer screens, including a criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Report.
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to insured, reliable transportation for workday tasks and travel within the division.
Must be able to meet the listed physical requirements, including prolonged standing, occasional sitting, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching, twisting, lifting, driving, typing, data entry, grasping, transferring items, housekeeping, and using office equipment.
Must be able to travel to, be physically present at, and complete the position’s physical requirements at any branch within the division.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Spanish ability is a plus.
Some college preferred.
One year of experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: sales, retail, banking, or collections.
