About The Position

Leader Bank is seeking a tech-forward, motivated, and client-obsessed loan officer to join its rapidly growing Consumer Direct Team. This role involves originating over $50 million in loan volume annually, handling inbound and outbound calls, evaluating client needs, and recommending mortgage products. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and delivers exceptional client service.

Requirements

2+ years of prior loan origination experience required.
Documented residential mortgage loan volume of at least $15 million in the past 12 months.
Solid time management skills, ability to prioritize activities, and establish and maintain working relationships with team members.
Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems, applications, and workflows.
Good under pressure to successfully navigate stressful work assignments or situations efficiently and effectively and meet critical deadlines.
Self-motivated, driven and able to work independently.
Must meet and follow all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of required background checks and obtaining a Unique Identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

Meet with potential clients to understand their financial needs and find the best mortgage product to suit those needs.
Empathize with clients and partners, recognizing the emotional aspect of buying a home.
Maintain extensive knowledge of the Bank’s programs, products, policies, and procedures, as well as strong knowledge of real estate lending practices and related areas.
Originate residential mortgage loans in accordance with Bank policy, secondary market guidelines, and consumer lending regulations.
Adhere to the Bank’s privacy and data security policies, safeguarding sensitive information and complying with relevant regulations to protect non-public information.
