About The Position

Evaluate moderately complex consumer loan applications for the extension of credit in a timely manner, ensuring a quality portfolio. This role involves making decisions on newly originated vendor and business partner requests within established guidelines, referring exceptions to senior management, and countersigning loans within authority. The position also provides daily guidance and training to less experienced loan representatives, communicates loan decisions to dealers, brokers, and customers, and maintains professional etiquette while adhering to Privacy Act Guidelines. Understanding and applying regulatory compliance issues related to Reg. B, HMDA, Adverse Action, Fair Lending, and Fraud Procedures is crucial. The role includes monitoring assigned individual and regional work queues and performing other duties and projects as requested by management. The position works under general supervision and exercises lending authority up to $150,000.

Requirements

  • Associates degree and two years of work experience required, or a combination of four years of higher education and/or work experience
  • Must be able to work 4 days in the office and 1 day remote at the Plank Road M&T office in Altoona PA.
