About The Position

As a Consumables Management Technician at JLL, you will be an essential link in our laboratory services operations, supporting pharmaceutical research through expert management of procurement and supply chain activities. In this role, you'll oversee order fulfillment, vendor relationships, and inventory management for laboratory equipment, supplies, and chemicals in a regulated environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in ordering goods and services, particularly laboratory consumables or scientific supplies
  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, medical device, or Life Science industry
  • Familiarity with procurement platforms including Ariba, SAP, and Jaggaer software systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication
  • Valid driver Licence

Responsibilities

  • Manage centralized storerooms containing laboratory equipment, supplies, chemicals, and specialized materials, ensuring proper storage and containment
  • Process purchase orders through client and JLL procurement systems including Ariba, SAP, and Jaggaer to fulfill customer requisitions efficiently
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels by placing requisitions to meet minimum/maximum thresholds established by stockroom management
  • Receive, verify, and inspect incoming supplies against specifications, documenting receipt and storing items in designated locations
  • Coordinate with customers and shipping departments to schedule inter-site and intra-site shipments of laboratory materials
  • Deliver materials, chemicals, and supplies directly to laboratories or designated points of use throughout the facility
  • Communicate proactively with vendors, management, and customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and fulfillment needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation including price listings, stock receipts, usage reports, inventory controls, and compliance records
  • Collect and report metrics as required by management to support operational visibility and continuous improvement
