About The Position

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. LHA program management responsibilities: Coordinate with program team & leadership to execute Class 1 change mgt & program performance metrics reporting both internal and external. This position will assist with management and processing of LHA Class 1 changes as separately tasked by the customer by Technical Instruction (TI). This position will assist with managing change to include engineering scoping thru tech-lock; followed by estimating and pricing proposal development. This position will assist with assembly and submittal of CDRLs for technical agreement and price proposals. Will assist with tracking and reporting of Class 1 change status. Additional support for waivers, deviations, and hold harmless. During development of all reporting, this position will review data collected and will conduct multi-level/cross functional program performance analysis, trend analysis and variance analysis to identify area's of concern and inform Program Leadership as required during report development. Interface with all Functional Divisions as required to address areas of concern, performance issues and recovery plans. Attend program and other functional organization meetings to understand the key drivers affecting program performance. Review SDRLs and CDRLs to ensure content meets requirements. Support post-delivery activities to include open DD250 closure, pier side or off-site execution.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 7 years of experience
  • Bachelors degree and 3 years of experience
  • Masters degree or above and 1 year of experience

  • Program and/or Project management, planning/engineering experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge with Microsoft tools.
  • Understanding of earned value.
  • Experience in understanding contractual documentation, purchase specifications, configuration management, metrics analysis, budgeting.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Skilled in the development of worksheets, charts, graphs, and presentations using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
  • Experience and ability to interact with all levels of management across the value stream, as well as external customers.
