About The Position

Tech Soft 3D is seeking an experienced and dynamic Consulting Engineering Manager to join their Relationships team. This role involves working closely with a team of skilled Consulting Engineers to assist customers with complex technical challenges, guide product integration, and ensure the optimal use of Tech Soft 3D's tools. The manager will lead the team in delivering exceptional customer experiences, building strong partner relationships, and ensuring long-term customer success. The position requires a hands-on approach with strong technical expertise in 3D and prior pre-sales experience. It combines leadership, collaboration, and technical skills to drive customer satisfaction, growth, and lasting relationships. This is a remote role based in the U.S., managing a global team across France, the U.S., Canada, and Japan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computing, product design, physics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience working in the Automotive, Aerospace, or Defense sectors, either as an end-user or within the CAD/PLM/PDM software ecosystem.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Solid understanding of 3D geometry and CAD.
  • A track record of success in pre-sales and technical support.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex customer relationships and technical challenges.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Present and demonstrate Tech Soft 3D software, clearly linking technical capabilities to customer value.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to create compelling content for sales proposals and marketing materials.
  • Stay current on technology and market changes relevant to products.
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Partner Development to refine tools, processes, and workflows for team efficiency and sustainability.
  • Champion company culture by building positive relationships, remaining agile through change, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
