KPMG in Canada is seeking talented and energetic candidates to join their Advisory, Management Consulting team as an Early Graduate/Full Time Consultant. This position is based in their Toronto practice and starts in September 2027. The role involves working across various service lines within Management Consulting, including Operations, Healthcare Solutions, Digital Healthcare Solutions, Banking & Capital Markets, Corporate Citizenship, People & Change, Supply Chain, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Consumer & Retail Solutions, and Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation (TST). Requirements

  • Enrolled in a university degree program (Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Commerce, Arts, etc.)
  • Currently in your third year of study and/or will enter your final year after completing the internship.
  • Highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of obstacles and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, and to work well in a team.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities, and can navigate ambiguity to identify a clear path forward.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, and a creative problem solver.
  • Clear interest or background in technology (for Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation roles).

Responsibilities

  • Support clients in the Financial Services, Public Sector, and Energy and Natural Resources sectors with services such as strategic planning, growth & omni-channel strategy, Target Operating Model (TOM) design, process improvement/redesign, cost optimization/value realization, and accounting/regulatory change programs.
  • Help clients perform current situation assessments/diagnostics, visioning/target state design, develop roadmaps, and support implementation.
  • Facilitate collaboration between governmental levels and foster public-private partnerships to drive innovation and develop intellectual capital for an integrated health ecosystem.
  • Redesign care systems across regional health ecosystems, promote operational excellence for improved care quality and outcomes, and support health workforce stability.
  • Leverage digital innovation to help healthcare organizations improve patient outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and navigate regulatory complexities.
  • Provide services such as digital strategy development, data analytics, cybersecurity, and technology implementation in the digital health space.
  • Help financial institutions transform and grow in an increasingly digital and competitive environment by working at the intersection of business strategy, emerging technology, and regulatory change.
  • Deliver innovative, data-driven solutions across the financial services ecosystem, supporting clients in areas such as digital transformation, cloud and AI adoption, operating model redesign, risk and compliance modernization, and customer experience innovation.
  • Develop clients into responsible and ethical corporate citizens through government compliance, maintaining a healthy and safe workforce, and positive social impact.
  • Focus on areas including accessibility, workforce well-being and culture, ethical and sustainable supply chain, social impact strategy, and measurement.
  • Shape and navigate the important people dynamics related to the transformation of work, capabilities, and behaviours to advance client business performance.
  • Assist clients with strategic alignment, workforce shaping, embedding inclusion and diversity, capability building & learning, digital HR transformation, and culture shifting.
  • Design and manage supply chains to accelerate corporate growth strategies, increase operational efficiency, and offer new and differentiated value to customers.
  • Work with finance functions to empower them to become more insightful and true business partners, focusing on budgeting, planning and forecasting, close and consolidation, reporting and analytics, with a focus on implementing technology solutions.
  • Create best-in-class digitally enabled customer experiences (CX) as part of clients’ wider organizational strategy, operating across CX design, growth strategy, digital advisory, e-commerce advisory, innovation, NextGen strategy, and contact centre advisory.
  • Advise clients on how new technology will impact their business and deliver innovative end-to-end digital transformation.
  • Work with digital and functional leaders to define their vision for digital transformation, develop tailored technology strategies, align with IT assets to be more customer centric, and create and execute implementation plans that drive business value.
