About The Position

The Enterprise Client Group (ECG) is Vanguard’s dedicated team of Relationship Executives and Strategists focused on serving its largest and most strategically important clients—plan sponsors, intermediaries, wealth managers, and service providers. ECG operates at an enterprise level, connecting capabilities across divisions, surfacing firm-wide opportunities, and removing barriers to collaboration to deliver a seamless, integrated experience to clients. This approach enables the team to co-create tailored solutions, anticipate client needs, and deliver differentiated value in a competitive marketplace. The goal is to strengthen senior leader connectivity, build strategic partnerships with clients, and share insights across firms to help them achieve their objectives. The Strategic Enablement team sits at the heart of ECG’s mission, driving strategic initiatives and supporting high-impact client engagements. This group works closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to turn client priorities into actionable outcomes, facilitate executive readiness, and ensure that Vanguard’s most important clients benefit from its best thinking and capabilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and professional communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and support stakeholder engagement.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in strategy, consulting, financial analysis, or client relationship management preferred.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and coordinating client engagements, including executive meetings and leadership forums.
  • Conduct research and analysis related to internal and client-driven opportunities (e.g., partnerships, products, solutions).
  • Prepare materials and presentations for senior leaders and client discussions.
  • Track progress on strategic initiatives and help communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Support the ongoing development of team processes and infrastructure to help build a best-in-class Strategic Enablement function.
