About The Position

As a Consultant Lead at FIS, you will be a seasoned individual contributor and subject matter expert supporting complex debit and payment processing initiatives. You will contribute to large-scale projects, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that address client challenges and business objectives. The role requires expert-level judgment, stakeholder management, risk assessment, and problem-solving capabilities to guide critical initiatives from strategy through execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
At least 7 years of experience in debit card processing, payment processing, or payments technology within the fintech industry.
Deep knowledge of payment transaction lifecycles, including authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, network operations, and payment processing platforms.
Proven experience serving as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on complex payments initiatives, platform modernization efforts, or business transformation programs.
Strong consulting, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and drive results with minimal direction.
