About The Position

As a Business Analyst within the FILI Technology, you will support multiple squad initiatives aimed at growing our core business and scaling our technology. You are a digitally savvy strategic thinker with a passion for delivering amazing customer experiences and building latest technology solutions. The role will focus on the platform health and modernization efforts of the applications and systems supporting the Fidelity Insurance Group (FIG). You will be working to build and deliver initiatives that support our client and associate experiences. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience
  • Familiarity with life insurance products, such as annuities, Life Term
  • Strong execution background with the ability to multi-task and prioritize for efficiency and business need.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertain, with technologies you may have never worked with previously and gather the data and information to get to the root of an issue to resolve.
  • Consistent track record of strategic planning, defining, and writing requirements, testing/learning, iterating on, and delivering best in class technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple squad initiatives aimed at growing our core business and scaling our technology.
  • Focus on the platform health and modernization efforts of the applications and systems supporting the Fidelity Insurance Group (FIG).
  • Build and deliver initiatives that support our client and associate experiences.
  • Build and deliver initiatives that support product growth as well as our client and associate experiences.
  • Assess end-to-end processes and analyze opportunities for modernization and enhancement.
  • Lead initiatives and take accountability for overall program success.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for developers and designers.
  • Break down Jira stories into small components, understand the underlying purpose, and test.
  • Identify application and system issues, enhancements, and requests by researching platform specifications and conferring with subject matter experts across the Enterprise.
  • Think strategically about the end-to-end process and how platform updates may impact the Team and the business.
  • Evaluate and make updates to procedures and processes with an eye towards operational efficiency.
