As a Business System Analyst Consultant within PNC's Retail Tech organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. This position will support the retail line of business planning and coordinating releases. In this role you will: Define and support the enterprise approach for scaling AI solutions • Translate business needs into AI-enabled capabilities and solution requirements • Partner with engineering teams to align architecture decisions to business outcomes • Identify opportunities to standardize and scale AI use cases across the organization Drive adoption of standardized reference architectures and reusable patterns • Document and socialize reference architectures for common AI use cases (e.g., copilots, agent workflows, RAG) • Ensure projects align to defined standards, reducing duplication and rework • Help teams select appropriate reusable components and patterns Support successful AI solution deployment and value realization • Define business success criteria (e.g., adoption, efficiency gains, accuracy, user experience) • Track outcomes and ensure solutions meet intended business goals • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams during delivery Establish and promote best practices for AI and agent usage • Document usage guidelines, acceptable patterns, and known limitations for AI solutions • Help teams understand how to effectively integrate agents into business workflows • Identify risks and ensure appropriate guardrails are communicated Define human-in-the-loop (HITL) processes and approval workflows • Identify where human validation is required based on risk, compliance, or business impact • Document approval flows, escalation paths, and decision accountability • Ensure AI workflows align with real-world operational processes Support governance and observability requirements • Partner with engineering to ensure observability aligns to business KPIs and compliance needs • Help interpret monitoring insights and translate them into business or process improvements

  • Participates in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
  • Monitors client experiences and feedback on the use of business applications; Enhanced system productivity, as needed.
  • Provides senior level consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results.
  • Analyzes, defines and documents clients requirements, and revises existing systems logic challenges, as necessary.
