About The Position

Iris Telehealth is actively hiring Consult-Liaison Psychiatrists to support emergency department and inpatient teams with high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations—all from the comfort of your home. This fully remote opportunity allows you to provide consultative psychiatric care across multiple hospital systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams to improve access to behavioral healthcare. This role is a 100% remote consults supporting Inpatient, Emergency Department, and Emergency Room settings. The patient population is all ages (experience treating ages 5+ in ED settings preferred). The schedule involves 13–16 shifts per month, including 3–4 weekend shifts per month. Experience with Epic is preferred. Nurse Practitioner supervision is required.

Requirements

Active Georgia medical license required
Board Certification required
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency
Minimum of 2 years of post-residency Consult-Liaison Psychiatry experience providing telehealth consults
Experience providing psychiatric consultations for inpatient, emergency department, and emergency room settings
Telehealth experience required
Must reside within the United States or a U.S. territory

Nice To Haves

Experience treating patients ages 5+ preferred
Epic experience strongly preferred
Willingness to provide Nurse Practitioner supervision
