About The Position

Iris Telehealth is actively hiring Consult-Liaison Psychiatrists to support emergency department and inpatient teams with high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations. This fully remote opportunity allows you to provide consultative psychiatric care across multiple hospital systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams to improve access to behavioral healthcare. The role involves 100% remote consults supporting Inpatient, Emergency Department, and Emergency Room settings. The patient population is all ages, with experience treating ages 5+ in ED settings preferred. The schedule requires 13-16 shifts per month, including 3-4 weekend shifts per month. Experience with Epic is preferred. This role also includes Nurse Practitioner supervision.

Requirements

Active Georgia medical license required
Board Certification required
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency
Minimum of 2 years of post-residency Consult-Liaison Psychiatry experience providing telehealth consults
Experience providing psychiatric consultations for inpatient, emergency department, and emergency room settings
Willingness to provide Nurse Practitioner supervision
Telehealth experience required
Must reside within the United States or a U.S. territory

Nice To Haves

Experience treating patients ages 5+
Epic experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working across multiple health systems and varying acuity levels
