This position is located within Northern Virginia. Responsibilities include observing, inspecting, and reporting on construction site work to ensure the integrity of technical and physical security of multiple sites. The role involves evaluating and developing physical, personnel, and technical security practices/procedures for various levels of defense-in-depth security postures. The technician will produce written reports or documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and tablet delivery systems to report on activities/processes, investigations/anomalies/deficiencies, incidents, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 standards on a weekly basis. Key duties include identifying unauthorized materials through physical and personnel searches and technological tools, evaluating methods used to place technical penetrations or unauthorized materials using surveillance techniques, and operating technical security devices, systems, and monitoring devices proficiently in both OCONUS and CONUS mission environments. The role requires the fortitude to report suspicious behavior, security infractions, and correlations between site blueprints and ICD 705 standards to highlight anomalous behavior.
