About The Position

SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a qualified Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) to support secure construction surveillance activities for a DoD customer in the San Diego, CA area. The CST will monitor construction activities within secure construction areas, support implementation of the Construction Security Plan, conduct inspections, document construction and security activity, and report anomalies, deviations, or security concerns to the Site Security Manager.

Requirements

  • Current, active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Minimum five years of construction experience.
  • Security experience may supplement up to two years of construction experience when directly related to DoD SCIF construction or physical security.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid certificate showing successful completion of a 40-hour or greater CST training course.
  • Working knowledge of ICD/ICS-705 Technical Specifications, demonstrated through experience on multiple ICD-705 projects.
  • Ability to perform job-related physical activities for extended periods, including standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain installation access, including personnel and vehicle access as required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor construction workers and personnel inside the secure construction site to ensure work is performed in accordance with the Construction Security Plan.
  • Prepare daily reports documenting construction activity, security-related observations, material deliveries, penetrations, drywall layers, HVAC security features, acoustical/TEMPEST countermeasures, and other certification-relevant construction details.
  • Provide weekly summaries with supporting photo documentation.
  • Document and report security violations, deviations from the Construction Security Plan, anomalies, and variances from official project construction plans.
  • Support access control procedures and deny unauthorized access to the secure construction site.
  • Conduct inspections of construction materials, finished and unfinished work, personnel, and personal items as directed.
  • Support daily opening and closing procedures for the secure construction site.
  • Maintain digital documentation and required onsite report records.
