About The Position

Alamon, Inc., an employee-owned company providing installation services to the utilities, energy, and communications industries, is seeking a Construction Supervisor to serve as the daily on-site authority for construction of standby and prime power generator systems, fuel storage and polishing systems, associated civil work, and related electrical installations. This is a hands-on field project management role. The Supervisor is present on the assigned site each working day and is accountable for directing contractors and trades, verifying installed work, coordinating inspections, and ensuring work is code-compliant and ready for turnover. The role owns the site, while the Construction Manager owns the broader portfolio. The position supervises subcontractors and vendors and oversees civil construction, generator and fuel-system installation, electrical work, commissioning support, safety, quality documentation, and project closeout. The role has authority to stop unsafe or nonconforming work, reject work, remove individuals for safety or compliance violations, direct site sequencing, and approve or reject daily tickets and installed quantities, subject to financial and contractual limits reserved to the Construction Manager. The position requires extensive travel, with lodging provided while traveling for the Company. Work takes place on active construction sites and can include outdoor work in all-weather conditions, nights and weekends as project demands require, and extended driving or periodic air travel between sites.
