About The Position

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision and functioning of construction projects. The role verifies field work, checks quality and daily quantities, maintains crew performance standards and contract schedules, and oversees Construction Coordinators as needed. It also handles administrative documentation and ensures safety practices and procedures are followed. Other related work and duties assigned by a supervisor or manager may apply.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to complete assignments without supervision and self-direct daily activities.
• Organized and motivated to provide project support as directed.
• Conscientious and professional, with a pleasant phone manner and excellent organizational skills.
• 1–3 years of previous field construction experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Field-verify the location and nature of work being performed by visiting the project.
• Confirm the quality of work and the quantity completed at the end of each day.
• Maintain acceptable performance standards and metrics for crews working on the project.
• Maintain the contract schedule.
• Oversee the day-to-day performance of Construction Coordinators as needed.
• Complete administrative functions needed to document work, including ordering and tracking supplies, billing, hours, and safety documents.
• Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed at all times.
• Perform other related work as assigned using available resources to achieve established goals.
