About The Position

This position assists journeyman-level employees with the construction, installation, alteration, and repair of sheet metal products and equipment in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and work orders. The role also provides technical guidance and direction to lower-level employees.

A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred. No related experience or training is required. Relevant experience assembling hoods and sheet metal air-conditioning and heating units is identified among the desired skills and abilities.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Ability to troubleshoot service issues using systematic, thoughtful, timely, and effective solutions and procedures.
• Ability to demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment.
• Experience providing quality, professional customer-related services.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively individually and in a team environment.
• Ability to handle disruptions professionally.
• Ability to work independently in commercial and construction settings.
