About The Position

USA Mechanical & Energy Service is seeking a Sheet Metal Apprentice to join its rapidly growing construction team. The apprentice will learn to fabricate ductwork and basic materials, perform basic maintenance and repairs, operate manual and automated machinery, and use a forklift after training. The role also includes keeping the shop and warehouse neat and clean and following company safety procedures, guidelines, and OSHA requirements.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Technical evening classes are required for candidates who have not graduated from technical school. The company provides uniforms and safety equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic knowledge of hand and electrical tools.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Ability to read tape measurements.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask, stay organized, and pay attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual.
• Technical evening classes are required if not graduated from technical school.

Nice To Haves

• Basic blueprint-reading skills are preferred but not required.
