About The Position
CCS Elite Fab, LLC is hiring a Sheet Metal Apprentice for its fabrication shop in Gray Court, South Carolina. The company specializes in custom chimney caps and offers paid on-the-job training, including CNC table operation and specialized fabrication equipment. The role involves measuring, cutting, fabricating, and assembling sheet metal components while meeting production and quality standards. Work is year-round and indoors in a clean, professional shop environment, on a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, with overtime available. Starting pay is $14.00 per hour, with experienced fabricators earning up to $30.00 per hour. The first performance evaluation takes place after 30 days, with opportunities for wage increases based on skill development. Advancement is performance-based.
Requirements
- Be punctual and ready to work consistently; reliability is identified as the top requirement.
- Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and perform basic shop math.
- Have a positive, coachable attitude and commitment to quality.
Nice To Haves
- Metal fabrication or construction experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
