About The Position

The construction safety manager will oversee safety for the concrete and steel at a power generation station, focusing on concrete pads and walls. They expect the safety person to help shape the safety program.

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction safety experience
• Mass concrete, including gang formwork
• Cranes/rigging
• Excavations
• Structural Reinforcing Steel
• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
• Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
• Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations

Nice To Haves

• OSHA outreach training experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
• Monitor OSHA compliance
• Upload documentation into Procore
• Daily safety reports
• Track workforce safety compliance
• Maintain safety logs and compliance records
• Fall protection enforcement (CRITICAL priority)
• Provide safety training as needed
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required

Benefits

• Per Diem: $125/Day on seven days
• Completion Bonus: $150/month
