About The Position

MIRACORP is seeking a Construction Project Manager for a large-scale construction project at the James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC) in Laurel, MD. This position is contingent upon contract award. The Construction Project Manager will serve as the onsite leader, responsible for the full oversight of all construction activities. This role requires independent application of advanced project management and technical expertise to complex assignments, working under limited supervision. Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience on commercial or government construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex construction efforts with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and coordination skills.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or other project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all construction efforts at a large project site.
  • Provide day-to-day project management for construction and service projects.
  • Coordinate with customers, review schedules, and participate in design reviews.
  • Support the COR by performing all project management tasks and maintaining project documentation.
  • Develop solutions to construction challenges or unforeseen field conditions.
  • Review contractor submittments for contract compliance.
  • Participate in acquisition activities, including responding to offeror questions, attending site visits, and joining contractor/government meetings.
  • Draft technical responses to change orders.
  • Prepare statements of work (SOWs) and cost estimates for new contracts and contract modifications.
  • Provide oversight of construction-related activities for assigned contracts.
