About The Position

AECOM is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support a major project in the Indianapolis, IN. This role involves overseeing program-related activities for smaller programs or a defined part of a larger program, in support of the overall Program Manager. The position provides technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery at the program level or for elements of a program. The successful candidate will advocate for ethical and safe working practices, support innovation in program management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation, and identify areas of high risk, proactively taking actions to positively impact program outcomes. This role also contributes to the global learning and people development strategy for program management, including identification of talent gaps and resourcing plans. Additionally, the Program Manager will assess long-term and disruptive trends in their area of expertise, propose skill development approaches and workforce planning to deliver capabilities for the future, and actively support the attraction and retention of talent across their area of expertise. The role is accountable for the overall financial success and delivery of AECOM Program Management agreements.

Requirements

BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.

Nice To Haves

10 or more-years of experience working in project management, program management and/or construction management
Experience working with large, advanced manufacturing, technology and/or corporate sector clients
Ability to travel to project sites in Northeast Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and Southwest Michigan
Strong communication and team leadership skills

Responsibilities
