Construction Plumber
About The Position
FMM is seeking motivated Construction Plumbers to install new plumbing systems on a multi-family construction project in Houma, Louisiana. FMM is a maintenance and construction company serving residential and commercial clients nationwide. The position includes residential and commercial new-construction plumbing installation and renovations, along with communicating with clients, vendors, peers, and supervisors. Candidates with current licenses or certifications will be highly considered and competitively compensated, though relevant industry experience is accepted. Tools are not required but are a plus. The position requires a clean driving record and passing background and drug/alcohol screenings. The employee may perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing installation.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with a team and independently without instruction.
- Tech-savvy, including comfort with mobile-friendly technology.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol screenings.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions in accordance with FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Integrity, Safety, and Versatility.
- Proficient computer, text, and email skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
Nice To Haves
- Current plumbing licenses or certifications.
- Tools.
- Experience with DWV piping systems, domestic water systems, gas piping, grease trap installation and service, or sewer lines.
- Ability to operate a trackhoe, ditch witch, skid steer, lull, scissor lift, and man lift.
