About The Position

TTL is seeking an ICC-certified special inspector for projects in the West Georgia area. This is a full-time, permanent position initially expected to support two projects in the area for approximately two years; afterward, TTL may reassign the employee to a different location. The successful candidate must be able to complete tasks without local supervision. Employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining authorization to work on restricted-access sites. The position is subject to pre-employment drug and motor vehicle record checks. Starting wage is $28 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector certification.
At least 2 years of reinforced concrete inspection experience.
ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector certification, or ability to acquire it within 8 weeks of the start date.
Certified F-number Technician (Floor Flatness/Floor Levelness) certification, or ability to acquire it within 6 months of the start date.
Ability to communicate professionally, orally and in writing.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Sufficient stamina to work outdoors in hot and cold environments.
Ability to complete tasks successfully without local supervision.
Authorization to work on restricted-access sites must be obtained and maintained.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of structural masonry inspection experience.
At least 1 year of F-number (Floor Flatness/Floor Levelness) experience.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site observations and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, including inspections of reinforced concrete, masonry, and floor flatness.
Prepare written daily reports documenting findings.
Follow proper procedures and perform accurate computations.
Maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, and others.
