The position contributes to project administration and technical direction, and coordinates and directs field construction responsibilities. It requires a strong onsite, in-the-field presence. The Construction Manager also supports field personnel, training, procedures, quality, and technical adequacy. The position may serve as a Control Account Manager and may present project plans, status, trends, assessments, or issues to federal sponsors and senior management. The role must be performed full-time onsite at LANL. The project operates 24/7, and shift work is available; recent schedules have included four 12-hour shifts per week. U.S. citizenship, an active Real ID driver’s license for badging and onboarding, and the ability to obtain and maintain DOE Q clearance are required.
