Requirements

  • Associate degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 5+ years’ project support experience
  • 2+ years’ project management experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Electrical Infrastructure construction experience
  • Knowledgeable in P6 and SAP
  • Proactive; accomplishes results through own efforts – strong interpersonal skills
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion
  • Applies advanced in-depth knowledge of project management support principles; understands project life cycle
  • Good communicator, both written and verbally
  • Able to interact and coordinate with outside agencies, licensing, and project teams
  • Other administrative skills

  • Has supported PMs that manage projects from beginning through execution

Responsibilities

  • Manage infrastructure projects when the Project Manager is out
  • Follow up on action items
  • Risk management
  • Manage RFIs
  • Identify problems and solutions
  • Provide input to project objectives, timelines, risks, milestones, deliverables, and budgets
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts among team members and, if needed, escalate to Project Manager
  • Conduct analysis and prepare presentations
  • Advise and recommend courses of action
  • Address project team needs and provide reminders
  • Interact and coordinate with outside agencies, licensing, and project teams
  • Obtain project status, updates, and maintain the project tracking database
  • Recognize verbal cues in meetings (action items, requests, additional meetings to be setup, etc.)
