Requirements

  • Bring genuine enthusiasm, ask great questions, and be excited to take ownership of real projects.
  • Comfortable taking initiative, collaborating across different personality types, and helping keep projects moving forward.
  • Build trust and represent the team well with both internal staff and external partners.
  • Ability to talk comfortably with everyone, from project managers in the office to field crews on job sites, and write clear, friendly project updates.
  • Strong attention to detail, spotting potential issues early, and bringing practical, real-world solutions to the table.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with everyday tools like Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, with a proven ability to pick up new construction management software quickly.
  • Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program in Construction Management or Project Management
  • Ability to obtain an OSHA 10 certification within first month.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with real project planning, helping define project scopes, milestone goals, and deliverable timelines.
  • Support preconstruction and estimating teams by organizing data for bid strategies, cost forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Research and evaluate pricing for materials, specialized equipment, and subcontractor services to keep bids competitive and accurate.
  • Participate in active site visits, job walks, and pre-bid meetings to gather critical project details directly from the field.
  • Conduct site inspections alongside safety leads to ensure active jobs maintain high safety standards.
  • Gain exposure to project management software, getting practical experience with Procore, MS Project, Accubid, and Change Order Pro.
  • Collaborate across preconstruction and field teams to streamline data workflows and simplify reporting.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.00/hour
