Koch Fertilizer in Enid, Oklahoma has a Construction Management Intern Summer 2027 opportunity available. The internship opportunity will be a 12-week program running from late May to mid-August 2027. Requirements

Currently enrolled in a degree or alternative program in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Eligible for full-time employment before or by May 2028.
Willing and able to meet all physical requirements.
Able to spend significant time in the field and travel to jobsites as needed.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Experience in construction, refining, petroleum, chemical, or manufacturing.
Familiarity with construction safety practices, LOTO, or environmental stewardship.
Exposure to project cost, scheduling, or early-phase (FEL / ECI) constructability concepts.

Responsibilities

Work alongside Construction Managers, project managers, contractors, and operations teams to support the safe and successful execution of capital and site projects.
Support construction planning activities by reviewing project scope, schedules, execution plans, and constructability considerations.
Participate in daily field activities, including contractor coordination, safety meetings, work planning, and removal of execution roadblocks.
Monitor construction progress, verify installed equipment and materials, and help communicate project status, issues, and upcoming activities.
Assist with project execution activities related to facility improvements, debottlenecking initiatives, and future turnaround preparation.
Gain hands-on experience with project startup, checkout, and commissioning activities while developing practical construction management skills.
